SAFE SCHOOLS training window for staff is open from June 1 to October 1.
There are 7 training components that all district staff are required to complete annually through Safe Schools.
In partnership with the STEP GRANT (services, training, education and policies to reduce domestic violence, dating violence and stalking) is a new training to address staff awareness and reporting procedures.
Each person’s Safe Schools login (home page) is personalized per their position/responsibilities.
Safe Schools will send reminders/prompts directly to the employee, for any trainings that are not yet completed. All seven trainings will be available through SafeSchools.com:

Each staff member will receive an email with a link to the SafeSchools.com website and a username. If you have not received an email from SafeSchools by the first week of August, please contact Pam Jenkins (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Neil McKay (email@example.com).
All staff should complete their required trainings by Wednesday October 1.
