Reading Resources

Becoming a strong reader and writer is a lifelong process that begins with a child’s earliest exposure to spoken language.  Helping your child gain the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to become confident and competent takes hard work and perseverance from all of us.  Parents are encouraged to explore and apply these resources as a piece in building a home to school partnership.  For additional ideas or strategies to match your child’s specific needs, contact their teacher or your school’s reading specialist.  Click on the Red Titles to download files or link out to additional resources.
