CERTIFICATED STAFF

Important Open Enrollment Information for the 2017-2018 plan year.

Premera Plans are no longer available!!  Open Enrollment is mandatory. 

DUE DATES:

  • On-Line enrollment (AETNA, United Healthcare, Delta Dental, Williamette Dental) must be completed by 4:00 p.m. on September 29th (AON/WEA Website).
  • Enrollment forms (Kaiser Permanente) must be postmarked no later than 4:00pm on September 29th.
  • All benefit effective dates are November 1st.

DEFAULT INFORMATION:

  • United Healthcare is the default IF there is a comparable plan (i.e., Premera PPO 3 would go to United Healthcare PPO3).
  • There is no default for Plan 2 or Plan 5. If you do not make a plan choice you will default to “no coverage”.
  • Kaiser Permanente is no longer offering their 250 plan.  If you are currently in this plan you MUST enroll in a new plan or you will default to “no coverage”.

DENTAL:

  • If you wish to make changes to your Delta Dental or Williamette coverage please visit the AON/WEA website.

 

September New Hires only:

  • You must make a medical selection no later than September 10th for October coverage (Premera or KP Plans).
  • You will then need to enroll in either AETNA or UNITED HEALTHCARE by September 29th for November 1st
  • Dental coverage must be made by September 10th.  There is no need to make any changes (unless you have a change for open enrollment) after that date.

CLASSIFIED/ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF

Important Open Enrollment Information for the 2017-2018 plan year.

  • On-Line enrollment (Delta Dental, Williamette Dental) must be completed by 4:00 p.m. on September 29th (AON/WEA Website).
  • Enrollment forms (Regence, KP, Premera) must be postmarked no later than 4:00pm on September 29th.
  • All benefit effective dates are November 1st.

DEFAULT INFORMATION:

  • If you are currently enrolled in an active plan and do not wish to make any changes, you will automatically stay in your current plan.
  • If you wish to make changes to your existing plan you will need to complete an enrollment form for that plan (i.e., KP, Premera, Regence).
  • If you are currently enrolled in a plan that is no longer available (KP 250 and Premera EasyChoice A/B) you will default to “no coverage” if an election is not made.

 

September New Hires:

  • Your medical selection must be received in the payroll department no later than September 10th via an enrollment form.  Your dental selection must be made via the AON/WEA website.
