Ferndale Festival of Arts, Culture and Family
Ferndale School District extends an open invitation to our community to join us for an evening of music, art, food, and dance Friday, March 24, 2017. Ferndale School District Board of Directors is hosting this FREE celebration to elevate, explore and enjoy together the diverse cultural backgrounds that make up the unique fabric of our community. All members of the greater Ferndale Community are invited to this open-house style event from 5 – 8 PM at Horizon Middle School, 2671 Thornton Road in Ferndale.
Featured performers include:
•Lummi Blackhawk Dancers
•Bob Storms & Friends Jazz Players
•Clan Heather Scottish Dancers
•Swill Kanim Violin Player and Storyteller
•Chicas Reinas Dancers
•Ferndale High School Drum Line and Color Guard.
We have many other groups on our schedule, with hands on art activities, poetry readings, dance lessons and games throughout the evening.
The Ferndale Festival of Arts, Culture and Family is a free event suitable for all ages. It is a visible embodiment of the School Board’s Fourth Strategic Commitment:
