Windward Knowledge Bowl Qualifies for State

For the first time in school history, Windward High School’s Knowledge Bowl team earned a spot in the state tournament. This past weekend, the team competed at Knowledge Bowl district playoffs held in Anacortes. Going into districts, the team was seeded in ninth place. Windward Students Compete in Film Project

Over the Presidents’ Day weekend, a team of Windward High School students competed in the Guerilla Film Project, sponsored by the Pickford Film Center in Bellingham. Now in its 13th year, the GFP is a filmmaking competition for teams of 3-5 high school students. Teams race against the clock to write, shoot, cut and edit a 3-minute film in exactly 65 hours.
