Summer Meals Program Begins July 5

Washington State’s Summer Meals Program picks up where school meal programs leave off in June. Free meals and snacks are available to students age 18 and under all summer long. All kids are welcome. Jamie Plenkovich Hired as Dir. of Facilities & Maintenance

Ferndale School District is elated to report the hiring of Jamie Plenkovich as the new director of facilities and maintenance. The Sky is the Limit for Mai Le

The sky is the limit for Mai Le, Ferndale High School Senior and Whatcom Community College Running Start student. Mai received a full ride scholarship to the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA). Ferndale High students compete in Culinary Throwdown

  On Thursday, June 1, seven Ferndale High School students from Ms. Carole Scanes culinary program competed in the first ever Ferndale High School Culinary Throwdown. Sports Medicine Team Wins Championship

Congratulations to Ferndale High School’s Sports Medicine Team who won the 14th Annual WESCO Sports Medicine Championships held Friday, May 19. The team competed against 12 other WESCO teams. Individually, team member senior Kyanna Bren placed 36th out of 247 competitors. Students competed in a variety of tests and emergency procedures.
