Summer Meals Program Begins July 5

Washington State’s Summer Meals Program picks up where school meal programs leave off in June. Free meals and snacks are available to students age 18 and under all summer long. All kids are welcome. Update 4:18 p.m. At this time, the authorities have checked our school buildings (Horizon, Cascadia, Eagleridge, Skyline and Vista) and have determined they are safe for occupancy. We have not been informed what the cause of the odor was determined to be. Authorities will be investigating the cause in the days to come. District and City Partner on Emergency Exercise

Safety continues to be a priority for Ferndale School District and the City of Ferndale. Last Friday, May 19, the district, in partnership with the City of Ferndale, Ferndale Police and Whatcom Unified, conducted its fourth table-top training exercise of this school year.
